Bill Parker’s 5” gauge Hunslet Holy War is a great performer as well as looking good. John Beauchamp’s steam calliope was operated by computer and compressed air over the CANMOD weekend. From Rotorua, Paul Newton’s 4-6-6-4 Uintah 4-cylinder simple loco is a very impressive engine. (Paul is admiring the classiest pen he has ever owned — an AME one!)
